And this will be the page where we will show of out Minecraft seats,
The idea of the Minecraft Seats at first came from Boemlauw, and Dennus, Later Miep mixxed in. Together they made what we call the Minecraft seats, made after the famous Block ID 3 block in the game Minecraft. It was supposed to look like a block of dirt, with gras sitting on top of it... ( and eventually people sitting on top of that ).
The seats were equipped with a power inlet, a power outlet ( which is secured by a fuse of 6A ) and a speaker, with amp. The idea was, to let people plug in their laptop, ipod, ipad or whatever and provide them with a simple speaker setup. On the bottom of the seats, there also is a light attached. This to make the seats really noticed when out in the gras at night.
These seats were out in the open at Campzone 2011. We did get a lot of really spontanous reactions... Also we cant remember anyone not using the speaker... ( and allmost regret putting it there in the first place ). The seats where put out in the open, and provided with a single plug to the power grid. They used the power outlet to provide the rest of the seats with power
Below you will find some pictures of the buildoff and of the finished seats
